(애 1: ) 슬프다 이 성이여 전에는 사람들이 많더니 이제는 어찌 그리 적막하게 앉았는고 전에는 열국 중에 크던 자가 이제는 ( ) 같이 되었고 전에는 열방 중에 공주였던 자가 이제는 강제 노동을 하는 자가 되었도다
(애 2: ) 내 눈이 ( )에 상하며 내 창자가 끊어지며 내 간이 땅에 쏟아졌으니 이는 딸 내 백성이 패망하여 어린 자녀와 젖 먹는 아이들이 성읍 길거리에 기절함이로다
(애 3: - ) 사람이 여호와의 구원을 바라고 ( ) 기다림이 좋도다 사람은 젊었을 때에 멍에를 메는 것이 좋으니 혼자 앉아서 잠잠할 것은 주께서 그것을 그에게 메우셨음이라
(애 4: ) 우리의 ( ) 곧 여호와께서 기름 부으신 자가 그들의 함정에 빠졌음이여 우리가 그를 가리키며 전에 이르기를 우리가 그의 그늘 아래에서 이방인들 중에 살겠다 하던 자로다
(애 5: ) 여호와여 우리를 주께로 돌이키소서 그리하시면 우리가 주께로 돌아가겠사오니 우리의 날들을 다시 ( ) 하사 옛적 같게 하옵소서
(Lamentations 1: ) How deserted lies the city, once so full of people! How like ( ) is she, who once was great among the nations! She who was queen among the provinces has now become a slave.
(Lamentations 2: ) My eyes fail from ( ), I am in torment within, my heart is poured out on the ground because my people are destroyed, because children and infants faint in the streets of the city.
(Lamentations 3: - ) it is good to wait ( ) for the salvation of the LORD. It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is young. Let him sit alone in silence, for the LORD has laid it on him.
