Hosea 호세아 6:1-11
Today, by God’s grace, we celebrate the 53rd anniversary of our church.
오늘 우리는 하나님의 은혜 가운데 교회 창립 53주년을 맞이했습니다.
Looking back over these 53 years, we can see that God’s grace has been greater than our efforts, and His guidance has been more faithful than our plans. We give thanks and glory to God who has led us to this day.
지난 53년을 돌아보면 우리의 수고보다 하나님의 은혜가 더 컸고, 우리의 계획보다 하나님의 인도하심이 더 신실했습니다. 여기까지 인도하신 하나님께 감사와 영광을 올려 드립니다.
Church anniversary Sunday is not only a day to look back with gratitude, but also a day to examine what kind of church God is calling us to be in the future.
그러나 창립기념주일은 과거를 돌아보며 감사하는 날인 동시에, 앞으로 우리가 어떤 교회가 되어야 하는지를 다시 확인하는 날이기도 합니다.
In today’s passage, Hosea cries out to Israel, which had turned away from God, saying, “Come, let us return to the Lord.”
오늘 본문에서 호세아는 하나님을 떠난 이스라엘을 향해 "오라 우리가 여호와께로 돌아가자"고 외칩니다.
The people still offered sacrifices, but their relationship with God had grown distant. They claimed to know God, but they were not living according to His heart.
백성들은 여전히 제사를 드리고 있었지만 하나님과의 관계는 멀어져 있었고, 하나님을 안다고 말했지만 하나님의 마음을 닮아 살지는 못했습니다.
God calls such people first to return to Him, then to know Him more deeply, and finally to live out His steadfast love in their daily lives.
하나님께서는 그런 백성들에게 먼저 돌아오라고 부르시고, 하나님을 힘써 알아가라고 말씀하시며, 마침내 인애를 실천하는 삶으로 나아가라고 초청하십니다.
This message is also God’s word to our church as we celebrate our 53rd anniversary today.
이 말씀은 오늘 창립 53주년을 맞는 우리 교회에도 주시는 말씀입니다.
A church that lives before God’s face is a church that returns to God, a church that earnestly seeks to know God, and a church that practices steadfast love.
하나님 앞에서 사는 교회는 하나님께 돌아가는 교회이고, 하나님을 힘써 알아가는 교회이며, 인애를 실천하는 교회입니다.
As we reflect on God’s faithfulness over the past 53 years, let us now consider this message together and seek His will for the years ahead.
53년 동안 우리를 인도하신 하나님께서 앞으로도 우리 교회를 하나님 앞에서 살아가는 교회로 세워 주시기를 바라며 말씀을 함께 살펴보겠습니다.
1. A Church That Returns to God (1-3)
하나님께 돌아가는 교회
In Hosea’s day, the northern kingdom of Israel appeared prosperous and strong on the outside, but its relationship with God was broken.
호세아 선지자가 활동하던 당시 북이스라엘은 겉으로는 부유하고 강해 보였지만 하나님과의 관계는 무너져 있었습니다.
The people trusted political alliances and economic prosperity more than they trusted God, and their faith had become merely a matter of outward form.
사람들은 하나님보다 정치적 동맹과 경제적 풍요를 더 의지했고, 신앙은 형식만 남아 있었습니다.
Then Hosea cried out to the people: “Come, let us return to the Lord.”(1)
그때 호세아는 백성들에게 이렇게 외칩니다. “오라 우리가 여호와께로 돌아가자.” (1)
To return means more than simply resuming religious activities. It means turning the direction of our lives back toward God after trying to live without Him.
여기서 “돌아가자”는 하나님 없이 살던 삶에서 하나님을 향해 다시 방향을 돌리는 것입니다.
The passage says, “He has torn us, that He may heal us; He has struck us down, and He will bind us up.”
본문은 하나님께서 “찢으셨으나 도로 낫게 하실 것이요, 치셨으나 싸매어 주실 것”이라고 말합니다.
This does not mean that God delights in hurting us. Rather, it means that when we wander down the wrong path, God disciplines us so that He may restore us and bring us back to life.
이 말씀은 우리가 잘못된 길로 가고 있을 때 깨닫게 하시고 다시 살리시기 위해 다루신다는 의미입니다.
Like a parent who stops a child from running into danger, God does not give up on His people.
마치 부모가 위험한 길로 뛰어가는 자녀를 붙잡는 것처럼, 하나님은 우리를 포기하지 않으십니다.
Israel was able to return to God not because its repentance was perfect, but because God never stopped loving His people.
이스라엘이 하나님께 돌아올 수 있었던 이유는 그들의 회개가 완벽했기 때문이 아닙니다. 하나님이 여전히 그들을 포기하지 않고 사랑하셨기 때문입니다.
Therefore, repentance begins not with guilt but with God’s love.
그래서 회개의 출발점은 죄책감이 아니라 하나님의 사랑입니다.
Returning to God is not standing before a fearful judge; it is returning to the embrace of a Father who restores us.
하나님께 돌아감은 두려운 심판대 앞에 서는 것이 아니라, 우리를 회복시키시는 아버지의 품으로 돌아가는 것입니다.
As we walk with the Lord over many years, our hearts can gradually be drawn to things other than God.
우리도 신앙생활을 오래 하다 보면 하나님보다 다른 것들에 더 마음을 빼앗길 수 있습니다.
Sometimes ministry becomes more important than God Himself. Sometimes church work takes the place of our relationship with God.
사역이 하나님보다 중요해질 때가 있습니다. 교회 일이 하나님과의 관계를 대신할 때가 있습니다.
At times success and survival seem more urgent than faith. Sometimes wounds and disappointments cause us to drift away from God.
성공과 생존이 신앙보다 앞설 때가 있습니다. 상처와 실망 때문에 하나님에게서 멀어질 때도 있습니다.
We may attend church and serve faithfully on the outside, yet our hearts may already be far from God.
겉으로는 교회를 다니고 봉사하지만 마음은 이미 하나님에게서 멀어져 있을 수 있습니다.
To people like us, Hosea still says, “Come, let us return to the Lord.”
호세아는 그런 우리에게도 말씀합니다. “오라, 우리가 여호와께로 돌아가자.”
God does not condemn those who return to Him; He welcomes them with open arms.
하나님은 돌아오는 사람을 정죄하기보다 품으십니다.
Many people struggle to come near to God because they feel inadequate.
많은 사람들이 하나님께 가까이 가지 못하는 이유는 자신이 너무 부족하다고 생각하기 때문입니다.
“I have not prayed enough.” “I have not lived faithfully.” “I have failed too many times.”
“기도를 제대로 못 했습니다.” “신앙생활을 잘하지 못했습니다.” “실망스러운 모습이 많습니다.”
But God does not push away those who return to Him.
그러나 하나님은 돌아오는 사람을 밀어내시는 분이 아닙니다.
In the parable of the prodigal son, the father ran to embrace his son before rebuking him. Returning to God means returning to the embrace of our Heavenly Father.
탕자의 비유에서 아버지는 아들을 꾸짖기 전에 먼저 달려가 안아 주었습니다. 하나님께 돌아간다는 것은 아버지의 품으로 돌아가는 것입니다.
God also restores those who are wounded. The passage says that He “will bind us up.”
또한 하나님은 상처 입은 사람을 회복시키십니다. 본문은 하나님께서 “싸매어 주실 것”이라고 말합니다.
Among us are people wounded by broken relationships, burdened by failure, struggling with illness, or grieving because of family difficulties.
우리 가운데는 관계의 상처가 있는 사람도 있고, 실패의 아픔이 있는 사람도 있고, 건강의 어려움이 있는 사람도 있고, 가족 문제로 눈물 흘리는 사람도 있습니다.
Returning to God means no longer carrying those wounds alone, but entrusting them to the God who heals.
하나님께 돌아온다는 것은 상처를 혼자 붙들고 있지 않고 치유자 되시는 하나님께 맡기는 것입니다.
A church that lives before God does not hide its wounds. It is a church that carries one another’s burdens and comes together before God.
하나님 앞에서 사는 교회는 상처를 숨기는 교회가 아니라, 서로의 상처를 품고 하나님께 함께 나아가는 교회입니다.
As we celebrate our 53rd anniversary, the first thing that must be restored is not our outward appearance but our relationship with God.
창립 53주년을 맞아 우리가 먼저 회복해야 할 것은 외적인 모습보다 하나님과의 관계입니다.
The greatest crisis of a church is not a lack of finances or a lack of people. The greatest crisis is believing that we can do fine without God.
교회의 진정한 위기는 재정이 부족한 것이 아닙니다. 사람이 적은 것도 아닙니다. 하나님 없이도 괜찮다고 생각하는 마음입니다.
Likewise, the true hope of the church is not found in its size but in returning to God. A church that returns to God can always begin again.
반대로 교회의 진정한 소망은 규모가 아닙니다. 하나님께 돌아가는 것입니다. 하나님께 돌아가는 교회는 언제나 다시 시작할 수 있습니다.
If God has torn, He will bind up. If something has been broken down, He will rebuild it. If hearts have been wounded, He will restore them.
하나님께서 찢으셨다면 다시 싸매어 주실 것이고, 무너진 것을 다시 세우실 것이며, 상처 입은 심령을 다시 회복시켜 주실 것입니다.
We believe that the God who has led our church for 53 years will continue to embrace us and restore us in the years to come.
53년 동안 인도하신 하나님께서 앞으로도 우리 교회를 품으시고 회복시키실 줄 믿습니다.
Today, God speaks to our church:
오늘 하나님께서는 우리 교회에 말씀하십니다.
“Do not stop at remembering the grace of the past. Return to Me again. Do not hold on to your wounds and failures; entrust them to Me. I will raise you up again and restore you.”
“과거의 은혜를 기억하는 것에 머물지 말고 다시 내게로 돌아오라. 상처와 실패를 붙들고 있지 말고 내게 맡기라. 내가 너희를 다시 일으키고 회복시킬 것이다.”
2. A Church That Earnestly Seeks to Know God (3)
하나님을 힘써 알아가는 교회
“Let us know; let us press on to know the Lord. His going out is sure as the dawn; He will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth.”
“그러므로 우리가 여호와를 알자 힘써 여호와를 알자 그의 나타나심은 새벽 빛 같이 어김없나니 비와 같이, 땅을 적시는 늦은 비와 같이 우리에게 임하시리라.”
Hosea does not simply tell the people to return to God. After returning, he urges them to press on to know God.
호세아는 백성들에게 단순히 하나님께 돌아오라고만 말하지 않습니다. 돌아온 후에는 하나님을 힘써 알아가라고 권면합니다.
In the Bible, to “know” someone means more than having information about them. It refers to a relationship.
성경에서 “안다”는 것은 단순한 지식을 의미하지 않습니다. 관계를 의미합니다.
When a husband and wife know one another, it does not mean they merely know each other’s names or birthdays.
부부가 서로를 안다고 할 때 이름이나 생일을 아는 것만을 말하지 않습니다.
It means they share life together, know each other’s hearts, and experience love together.
함께 살아가며 마음을 나누고 사랑을 경험하는 것을 말합니다.
Likewise, knowing God is not about accumulating information about Him. It is about walking with Him and learning His heart.
마찬가지로 하나님을 안다는 것은 하나님에 대한 정보를 많이 아는 것이 아니라 하나님과 동행하며 그분의 마음을 알아가는 것입니다.
The people of Israel possessed a great deal of religious knowledge. They offered sacrifices, observed festivals, and knew the Law.
이스라엘은 하나님에 대한 종교적 지식은 많았습니다. 제사도 드렸고, 절기도 지켰고, 율법도 알고 있었습니다.
Yet they did not truly know God’s heart.
그러나 정작 하나님의 마음은 알지 못했습니다.
That is why Hosea says not only, “Let us know the Lord,” but, “Let us press on to know the Lord.”
그래서 호세아는 단순히 “여호와를 알자”가 아니라 “힘써 여호와를 알자”고 말합니다.
Knowing God is not a decision that ends in a moment; it is a lifelong journey.
하나님을 아는 일은 한 번의 결심으로 끝나는 것이 아니라 평생 계속되는 여정이기 때문입니다.
The phrase “press on” means “keep pursuing,” “do not give up,” and “seek persistently.”
여기서 “힘써”라는 말은 “계속 추구하라”, “포기하지 말고 따라가라”, “끈질기게 찾아가라”는 뜻을 가지고 있습니다.
When we begin a new job, we work hard to learn. When we develop a new skill, we invest time and effort. When we love someone, we seek to understand that person more deeply.
우리는 새로운 직장에 가면 배우려고 노력합니다. 새로운 기술을 익히기 위해 시간을 투자합니다. 사랑하는 사람을 이해하기 위해 관심을 기울입니다.
Yet when it comes to knowing God, we often become satisfied too quickly.
그런데 하나님을 알아가는 일에는 종종 쉽게 만족해 버립니다.
Whether we have followed Christ for ten years or thirty years, we can never fully know God in this lifetime because God is infinite.
10년 믿은 사람도, 30년 믿은 사람도, 평생 하나님을 다 알 수는 없습니다. 하나님은 무한하신 분이시기 때문입니다.
Therefore, knowing God is the lifelong calling of every believer after repentance.
그래서 하나님을 아는 것은 회개 이후에 시작되는 성도의 평생 과제입니다.
If returning to God is the beginning of faith, then knowing God is the growth of faith.
하나님께 돌아가는 것이 신앙의 출발이라면, 하나님을 알아가는 것은 신앙의 성장입니다.
Today God says to us:
하나님께서는 오늘 우리에게 말씀하십니다.
“Do not be satisfied with what you already know about Me. Seek Me more deeply. I will reveal Myself to those who seek Me, and I will appear like the dawn to those who long for Me.”
“나를 아는 일에 만족하지 말고 더욱 나를 찾으라. 나를 찾는 자를 내가 만나 줄 것이며, 나를 사모하는 자에게 새벽빛처럼 나타날 것이다.”
God is inviting us into a deeper relationship with Him.
하나님은 우리를 더 깊은 관계로 초청하고 계십니다.
Hosea gives a beautiful promise to those who earnestly seek to know God.
호세아는 하나님을 힘써 알아가는 사람들에게 아름다운 약속을 줍니다.
“His appearing is as sure as the dawn.”
“그의 나타나심은 새벽 빛 같이 어김없다.”
No matter how long the night may be, dawn always comes. Even in seasons when our faith feels dark, God has not disappeared.
밤이 아무리 길어도 새벽은 반드시 옵니다. 우리의 믿음이 어두울 때에도 하나님은 사라지신 것이 아닙니다.
Just as dawn gradually brightens the sky, God slowly reveals Himself in our lives.
새벽이 서서히 밝아 오듯 하나님은 우리 삶 가운데 자신을 나타내십니다.
Though we may not always see it, He is still at work.
우리가 보지 못할 뿐 하나님은 여전히 일하고 계십니다.
God also promises that He will come to us “like the spring rains that water the earth.”
또한 하나님은 “땅을 적시는 늦은 비와 같이” 우리에게 임하신다고 말씀합니다.
For the people of Israel, the latter rain was life-giving rain. Without it, crops would die and life would collapse. Therefore, the latter rain became a symbol of God’s grace.
이스라엘 사람들에게 늦은 비는 생명을 살리는 비였습니다. 비가 오지 않으면 농작물이 죽고 삶이 무너졌습니다. 그래서 늦은 비는 하나님의 은혜를 상징합니다.
Just as dry ground comes alive when rain falls upon it, a weary and dry soul comes alive again when it encounters God.
메마른 땅이 비를 만나 살아나듯이 메마른 영혼도 하나님을 만나면 다시 살아납니다.
God does not condemn the weary; He refreshes them with His grace.
하나님은 지친 사람을 정죄하기보다 은혜로 적셔 주시는 분입니다.
Many believers carry a sense of burden in their spiritual lives.
많은 성도들이 신앙생활을 하면서 부담을 느낍니다.
“I should be doing more.” “I have not prayed enough.” “I have not read the Bible enough.”
“더 열심히 해야 하는데...” “기도를 많이 못 했는데...” “성경을 충분히 읽지 못했는데...”
But knowing God is not like studying for an exam. It is not about earning points with God. It is about growing closer to the One who loves us.
그러나 하나님을 알아간다는 것은 시험공부가 아닙니다. 하나님께 점수를 따는 것도 아닙니다. 우리를 사랑하시는 하나님께 더 가까이 가는 것입니다.
God is not waiting for us to become perfect before meeting us. He is willing to meet us even now.
하나님은 우리가 완벽해질 때까지 기다리시는 분이 아니라 지금도 우리를 만나 주시는 분입니다.
Therefore, what matters is not how much we know, but whether we continue drawing closer to Him.
그래서 중요한 것은 많이 아는 것이 아니라 계속 하나님께 가까이 가는 것입니다.
As we come to know God more deeply, we begin to see grace more clearly than our wounds.
또한 하나님을 알아갈수록 우리는 상처보다 은혜를 더 크게 보게 됩니다.
At first, we do not understand why certain things happen to us. Illness, failure, tears, and loss often make no sense.
처음에는 왜 이런 일이 나에게 일어났는지 이해하지 못합니다. 질병도, 실패도, 눈물도, 이별도 이해되지 않습니다.
But as we gradually come to know God, we begin to confess:
그러나 하나님을 조금씩 알아갈수록 고백하게 됩니다.
“God has not abandoned me.” “God has brought me this far.”
“하나님이 나를 버리지 않으셨구나.” “하나님이 여기까지 인도하셨구나.”
Even when every problem is not resolved, we begin to discover God’s faithfulness.
문제가 모두 해결되지 않아도 하나님의 신실하심을 발견하게 됩니다.
Healing is not merely the disappearance of pain. True healing is discovering God even in the midst of our pain.
상처가 완전히 사라지는 것이 치유가 아니라 상처 가운데서도 하나님을 발견하는 것이 치유입니다.
A church that lives before God is a church that continues to know Him more deeply and grow to reflect His heart.
하나님 앞에서 사는 교회는 하나님을 계속 알아가며 하나님의 마음을 닮아 가는 교회입니다.
When we do so, God will appear among us like the dawn and refresh our weary souls like the latter rain.
그럴 때 하나님은 새벽빛처럼 우리 가운데 나타나시고, 늦은 비처럼 메마른 영혼을 적셔 주실 것입니다.
Those who truly know God will eventually learn to love as God loves.
하나님을 진정으로 아는 사람은 결국 하나님처럼 사랑하게 됩니다.
That is why Hosea never separates knowing God from practicing steadfast love.
그래서 호세아는 하나님을 아는 것과 인애를 실천하는 것을 결코 분리하지 않습니다.
Now let us consider the final mark of a church that lives before God: it is a church that practices steadfast love.
이제 마지막으로 하나님 앞에서 사는 교회는 어떤 교회인지 살펴보겠습니다. 그것은 인애를 실천하는 교회입니다.
3. A Church That Practices Steadfast Love (4-11)
인애를 실천하는 교회
“For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.”(6)
“나는 인애를 원하고 제사를 원하지 아니하며 번제보다 하나님을 아는 것을 원하노라.”
This verse stands at the very heart of Hosea chapter 6.
호세아 6장의 중심은 바로 이 말씀에 있습니다.
Those who return to God and earnestly seek to know Him will eventually begin to reflect His heart.
하나님께 돌아가고, 하나님을 힘써 알아가는 사람은 결국 하나님의 마음을 닮아가게 됩니다.
And when God's heart is expressed through our lives, it appears as steadfast love.
그리고 그 마음이 삶 속에서 나타나는 것이 바로 인애입니다.
The people of Israel were diligent in offering sacrifices. They observed religious festivals, came to the temple, and presented their offerings.
이스라엘 백성들은 제사를 열심히 드렸습니다. 절기를 지켰고, 성전에 나왔고, 헌물을 바쳤습니다.
Outwardly, they appeared to be faithful believers.
겉으로 보기에는 신앙생활을 잘하는 것처럼 보였습니다.
Yet God was not pleased with their worship.
그런데 하나님은 그들의 예배를 기뻐하지 않으셨습니다.
They sought God inside the sanctuary, but outside they were not living according to His will.
왜냐하면 예배당 안에서는 하나님을 찾았지만 예배당 밖에서는 하나님의 뜻대로 살지 않았기 때문입니다.
Therefore God declared, “I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice.”
그래서 하나님은 말씀하십니다. “나는 인애를 원하고 제사를 원하지 아니한다.”
Of course, God was not saying that He hated sacrifices or that people should stop worshiping.
물론 하나님은 제사를 싫어하신다는 뜻이 아닙니다. 예배를 드리지 말라는 뜻도 아닙니다.
What God condemned was the separation between faith and life.
하나님께서 문제 삼으신 것은 신앙과 삶이 분리된 모습이었습니다.
With their lips they spoke about God, yet in their lives they ignored the weak, used one another, and wounded the community.
입술로는 하나님을 말하면서도 삶에서는 약한 자를 외면하고, 서로를 이용하고, 공동체를 상하게 하고 있었습니다.
God desired lives that reflected His heart more than outward religious activity.
하나님은 형식적인 종교생활보다 하나님의 마음을 닮은 삶을 원하셨습니다.
The word translated as “steadfast love” is the Hebrew word hesed. It refers to God's unfailing love, His covenant faithfulness, and His love that never gives up.
여기서 "인애"는 히브리어로 "헤세드"인데, 하나님의 변함없는 사랑, 언약에 신실한 사랑, 끝까지 포기하지 않는 사랑을 의미합니다.
Just as God never gave up on Israel, He calls us not to give up on one another.
하나님께서 이스라엘을 포기하지 않으셨듯이 우리도 서로를 쉽게 포기하지 말라는 것입니다.
Jesus also considered this verse extremely important.
예수님께서도 이 말씀을 매우 중요하게 여기셨습니다.
Twice He quoted these words to the Pharisees, saying, “I desire mercy, not sacrifice.”
바리새인들에게 두 번이나 이 말씀을 인용하시며 "나는 인애를 원하고 제사를 원하지 아니하노라"고 말씀하셨습니다.
They were diligent in religion, yet reluctant to love people.
왜냐하면 그들은 종교적으로는 열심이었지만 사람을 사랑하는 데는 인색했기 때문입니다.
Jesus never separated love for God from love for neighbor.
예수님은 하나님 사랑과 이웃 사랑을 결코 분리하지 않으셨습니다.
Those who truly love God will also love people.
하나님을 진정으로 사랑하는 사람은 사람도 사랑하게 됩니다.
What, then, does it mean for us today to practice steadfast love?
그렇다면 오늘 우리에게 인애를 실천한다는 것은 무엇일까요?
Many people think they must first become strong enough, successful enough, or good enough before they can love others.
많은 사람들은 사랑을 실천하려면 먼저 자신이 충분히 괜찮은 사람이 되어야 한다고 생각합니다.
But Scripture teaches otherwise.
그러나 성경은 그렇게 말하지 않습니다.
We are able to love because God first loved us.
우리가 사랑할 수 있는 이유는 우리가 하나님께 사랑받았기 때문입니다.
Those who have been wounded can still comfort others.
상처받은 사람도 다른 사람을 위로할 수 있습니다.
Those who are weak can still strengthen someone else.
연약한 사람도 누군가를 붙들어 줄 수 있습니다.
Those who shed tears can still wipe away the tears of another.
눈물 흘리는 사람도 다른 사람의 눈물을 닦아줄 수 있습니다.
Anyone who has experienced God's love can become a channel of that love.
하나님의 사랑을 경험한 사람은 누구나 사랑의 통로가 될 수 있습니다.
Furthermore, steadfast love does not begin with grand gestures.
또한 인애는 거창한 것에서 시작되지 않습니다.
Most of the love Jesus demonstrated was expressed through simple acts of compassion.
예수님께서 보여 주신 사랑은 대부분 작은 사랑이었습니다.
He sat beside the sick, listened to the lonely, fed the hungry, and lifted up those who had failed.
병든 사람 곁에 앉아 주셨고, 외로운 사람의 이야기를 들어 주셨고, 배고픈 사람에게 먹을 것을 주셨고, 실패한 사람을 다시 일으켜 세워 주셨습니다.
Even today, steadfast love begins not with special programs but with small acts of faithfulness in everyday life.
오늘날에도 인애는 특별한 프로그램보다 일상의 작은 실천에서 시작됩니다.
It begins by asking someone how they are doing, praying for the sick, staying beside the lonely, and choosing to embrace those who are difficult to forgive.
먼저 안부를 묻는 것, 아픈 사람을 위해 기도하는 것, 외로운 사람 곁에 있어 주는 것, 용서하기 어려운 사람을 품어 보는 것, 바로 이런 것이 하나님께서 기뻐하시는 인애입니다.
A church that lives before God is a church where people can feel love.

Gracious and loving Heavenly Father, thank You for speaking to us through the book of Hosea as we celebrate the 53rd anniversary of our church and for calling us once again to stand before You.
