교회소개(16: )다윗의 장막에 인자함으로 왕위가 굳게 설 것이요 그 위에 앉을 자는 충실함으로 판결하며 (정의를 구하며) 공의를 신속히 행하리라
In love a throne will be established; in faithfulness a man will sit on it--one from the house of David--one who in judging (seeks justice) and speeds the cause of righteousness.
(16: )이제 여호와께서 말씀하여 이르시되 (품꾼의 정한 해)와 같이 삼 년 내에 모압의 영화와 그 큰 무리가 능욕을 당할지라 그 남은 수가 심히 적어 보잘것없이 되리라 하시도다
But now the LORD says: "Within three years, as (a servant bound by contract) would count them, Moab's splendor and all her many people will be despised, and her survivors will be very few and feeble."
(17: )이는 네가 (네 구원의 하나님)을 잊어버리며 네 능력의 반석을 마음에 두지 아니한 까닭이라 그러므로 네가 기뻐하는 나무를 심으며 이방의 나무 가지도 이종하는도다
You have forgotten (God your Savior); you have not remembered the Rock, your fortress. Therefore, though you set out the finest plants and plant imported vines,
(17: )보라 저녁에 두려움을 당하고 아침이 오기 전에 그들이 없어졌나니 이는 우리를 (노략한 자들의 몫)이요 우리를 강탈한 자들의 보응이니라
In the evening, sudden terror! Before the morning, they are gone! This is (the portion of those who loot us), the lot of those who plunder us.
(18: )세상의 모든 거민, 지상에 사는 너희여 산들 위에 기치를 세우거든 너희는 보고 (나팔을 불거든) 너희는 들을지니라
All you people of the world, you who live on the earth, when a banner is raised on the mountains, you will see it, and (when a trumpet sounds), you will hear it.
(18: )(추수하기 전)에 꽃이 떨어지고 포도가 맺혀 익어갈 때에 내가 낫으로 그 연한 가지를 베며 퍼진 가지를 찍어 버려서
For, (before the harvest), when the blossom is gone and the flower becomes a ripening grape, he will cut off the shoots with pruning knives, and cut down and take away the spreading branches.
(18: )그 때에 강들이 흘러 나누인 나라의 장대하고 준수한 백성 곧 시초부터 두려움이 되며 강성하여 대적을 밟는 백성이 만군의 여호와께 드릴 예물을 가지고 (만군의 여호와의 이름)을 두신 곳 시온 산에 이르리라
At that time gifts will be brought to the LORD Almighty from a people tall and smooth-skinned, from a people feared far and wide, an aggressive nation of strange speech, whose land is divided by rivers--the gifts will be brought to Mount Zion, the place of (the Name of the LORD Almighty).
