교회소개(10: )(죽은 파리들)이 향기름을 악취가 나게 만드는 것 같이 적은 우매가 지혜와 존귀를 난처하게 만드느니라
As (dead flies) give perfume a bad smell, so a little folly outweighs wisdom and honor.
(10: )(함정)을 파는 자는 거기에 빠질 것이요 담을 허는 자는 뱀에게 물리리라
Whoever digs (a pit) may fall into it; whoever breaks through a wall may be bitten by a snake.
(11: )너는 (네 떡)을 물 위에 던져라 여러 날 후에 도로 찾으리라
Cast (your bread) upon the waters, for after many days you will find it again.
(11: )청년이여 네 어린 때를 즐거워하며 네 청년의 날들을 마음에 기뻐하여 마음에 원하는 길들과 네 눈이 보는 대로 행하라 그러나 하나님이 (이 모든 일)로 말미암아 너를 심판하실 줄 알라
Be happy, young man, while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, but know that for (all these things) God will bring you to judgment.
(12: )너는 청년의 때에 (너의 창조주)를 기억하라 곧 곤고한 날이 이르기 전에, 나는 아무 낙이 없다고 할 해들이 가깝기 전에
Remember (your Creator) in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, "I find no pleasure in them"--
(12: )흙은 여전히 땅으로 돌아가고 영은 그것을 주신 (하나님께로) 돌아가기 전에 기억하라
and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns (to God) who gave it.
(12: )일의 결국을 다 들었으니 (하나님을 경외하고) 그의 명령들을 지킬지어다 이것이 모든 사람의 본분이니라
Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: (Fear God) and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
