교회소개(29: )자주 책망을 받으면서도 (목이 곧은) 사람은 갑자기 패망을 당하고 피하지 못하리라
A man who (remains stiff-necked) after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed--without remedy.
(29: )(네 자식)을 징계하라 그리하면 그가 너를 평안하게 하겠고 또 네 마음에 기쁨을 주리라
Discipline (your son), and he will give you peace; he will bring delight to your soul.
(30: )너는 그 말씀에 (더하지 말라) 그가 너를 책망하시겠고 너는 거짓말 하는 자가 될까 두려우니라
(Do not add) to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.
(30: )만일 네가 미련하여 스스로 (높은 체)하였거나 혹 악한 일을 도모하였거든 네 손으로 입을 막으라
"If you have played the fool and (exalted yourself), or if you have planned evil, clap your hand over your mouth!
(31: )누가 (현숙한 여인)을 찾아 얻겠느냐 그 값은 진주보다 더 하니라
(A wife of noble character) who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.
(31: )그는 간곤한 자에게 (손을 펴며) 궁핍한 자를 위하여 손을 내밀며
She (opens her arms) to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.
(31: )고운 것도 거짓되고 아름다운 것도 헛되나 오직 (여호와를 경외하는) 여자는 칭찬을 받을 것이라
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman (who fears the LORD) is to be praised.
