교회소개(19: )가난하여도 (성실하게 행하는 자)는 입술이 패역하고 미련한 자보다 나으니라
Better a poor man whose (walk is blameless) than a fool whose lips are perverse.
(19: )너그러운 사람에게는 은혜를 구하는 자가 많고 (선물 주기를) 좋아하는 자에게는 사람마다 친구가 되느니라
Many curry favor with a ruler, and everyone is the friend of a man who (gives gifts).
(19: )(노하기를 맹렬히 하는 자)는 벌을 받을 것이라 네가 그를 건져 주면 다시 그런 일이 생기리라
(A hot-tempered man) must pay the penalty; if you rescue him, you will have to do it again.
(20: )(포도주)는 거만하게 하는 것이요 독주는 떠들게 하는 것이라 이에 미혹되는 자마다 지혜가 없느니라
(Wine) is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise.
(20: )너는 (잠자기)를 좋아하지 말라 네가 빈궁하게 될까 두려우니라 네 눈을 뜨라 그리하면 양식이 족하리라
Do not love (sleep) or you will grow poor; stay awake and you will have food to spare.
(21: )사람의 행위가 (자기 보기에는) 모두 정직하여도 여호와는 마음을 감찰하시느니라
All a man's ways seem right (to him), but the LORD weighs the heart.
(21: )귀를 막고 (가난한 자)가 부르짖는 소리를 듣지 아니하면 자기가 부르짖을 때에도 들을 자가 없으리라
If a man shuts his ears to the cry of (the poor), he too will cry out and not be answered.
